Why it exists

There are two Staffordshire Bull Terriers behind this app. Bo, who sighs the moment his head touches the floor. Stella, who eats one piece of kibble and comes back for the rest twenty minutes later, as if she just remembered it.

The details soften fast. A specific Tuesday in March when Stella decided she didn’t like the brown harness. The week Bo stopped pulling on the lead. The first thunderstorm. Writing them down was the only thing that worked — and once they were written down, the vet visits and the weights and the food changes wanted to live in the same place.

That is the whole product, really. A place to keep it, and enough quiet intelligence to notice the patterns you would miss. The longer version is in Field Notes.

What I’m not

Not a vet, and not pretending to be one. The guides in Field Notes are written from owner experience and checked against veterinary sources, and they say so where it matters. Tamadoggo keeps the record your vet relies on; it does not replace the visit, and it will never tell you what is wrong with your animal.

How it’s built
